Hi.
I'm new to nudism even though I tried it some at home and have been curious about it for a long time.
I've met a woman who, to my delight, brought up the subject of nudism.
I'm not sure if I'm interested in nude resorts and such but to live as a nudist at home with my hopefully-to-be-wife does appeal to me a lot.
Do all of you have any good general advice or thoughts on what it means to live as a nudist?
Our long term plan together is to live near nature, so neighbours should not be a problem to us
But what about friends and family? if we don't want to tell them, atleast at first, how do we go about?
Does nudist life differ in any sense from a life wearing clothes? if so, how?
I know little about nudism so any help and advice is most welcome no matter how trivial it might seem

Hi,
You are a very lucky person as your future wife brought up the subject of nudism.
Do what you both feel comfortable about and respect each other...but of course that counts in every relationship.
As for the nudism, I guarantee you that once you have done it for a while you never want to live anymore in any other way.
It is pleasant, it is very very relaxing and it is fun...each and every day.
On the other hand it is very natural as for the rest life does not change so much: bills need to be paid, the household needs to be done, repairs have to be done and not to forget shopping and a million other things to keep the household functioning.
How often and under which circumstances you want to be nude...that is everybody's personal choice.
Same holds for whom to tell and when or under what circumstances.
I for instance dont shout from the rooftops that I am a nudist and live clothesfree most of my time.
But my family knows and so do some other close ones.
And I never had any negative reactions. Contrary!
Also from most strangers I encountered during a nude hike - it is awesome to walk nude outdoors - in the woods I never had any negative or unpleasant reactions.
Usually a surprised glance or a smile.
My point here is that being nude is really no big deal and certainly not something to be ashamed about or to worry about.
Once you are over that treshold of anxiety and restrain, you will feel so free and good...it is undescribable.
And I bet that many many more people would love living that way were it not for the fact that they are a sort of prisinors of that culture that says that nudism is undecent and irrespectful....
I even dare to defend the thesis that the sexindustry with all its negative phenomena would collapse if nudism would become the norm.
After all, nudism is about respect for yourself and other human beings, it is about a healthy lifestyle for both body and mind...it is about real freedom.
I hope this is of some help.

`I met my Partner who lived in Australia. She was going to be a Nun in her early years BUT thern she discovered men LOL
I introduced her to Nudism and we later lived at a local nudst caravan park.
It was very hard to get her to used to the idea of living the Nudist lifestyle but in the end she has really enjoyed it. We are members of the local Nudist Club and go each weekend when we can.
She has a body image problem which I tried to convince her not top worry abput. You are very lucky if she brought the subject up. JUST dont rush her like I did and Im sure you will be fine and will live a wonderfull life

Nudism is all about being comfortable and free. Don't worry about friends, neighbors and family. Most will understand or at least accept it and wish they had the nerve. Nudist life doesn't differ in textile life except you want to keep clean towels around to sit on and don't scratch while cooking. lol
